It is with great pleasure that the Board of Elders, members and adherents of Ritson Road Alliance Church extend a special welcome to our new Pastor, Kris Corbin, his wife Amanda and their four young children. Pastor Kris assumed the position of Senior Pastor on August 14, 2018.
Pastor Kris and his family come from Beaverlodge Alliance Church in Alberta where he was an Associate Pastor overseeing ministry to youth and young people for the past five years. He and his family have travelled far to join the Ritson Road community and make their home in Oshawa. He looks forward not only to getting to know members of Ritson Road Alliance Church, but residents of our neighbourhood and surrounding area. He brings a variety of ministry experiences to his new role and looks forward to drawing on them as he leads the congregation in the midst of our growing population and changing landscape.
Pastor Kris has a passion for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and having a positive relationship with our neighbours and community. So, he wants to meet you and get to know you. To this end you are welcome to join us for morning services every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., and then stay for a cup of coffee and conversation. As well, Pastor Kris can be contacted through the church office Tuesday to Friday. A time can be arranged for that cup of coffee and a personal visit. Perhaps you can advise him on some good walking and biking trails in Oshawa.
