A Call to Be God’s Hands and Feet
Thanks to all who have been praying for God’s leading of the church’s compassion ministry. We have been praying for opportunity to become more involved, more ‘hands on’, more personal with those to whom we minister.
As Steve announced Sunday, God has answered. We received the following request from Gate 3:16. "The Gate is looking for volunteers to help in the operation of the centre. The work would involve a few hours per week in the area of serving, cleaning, kitchen help, etc.” We are thinking of forming a team that could help out at the Gate on a regular basis. If you are interested, please speak with Steve Hill as soon as possible. We will be in touch with the Gate staff to find out more details.
